“Woman”

I long for the touch of her lips
The sensations of her pulsating body
Through this web of loneliness and frustration
My haunted mind evokes desires
That reverberate through my palpitating manhood

To be held in her embrace
To have her squeeze my torso in sweet ecstasy
This imagination becomes a madness
But my body aches in yearning

Woman
I wait for you
Come rescue me
Fulfill me and complete me
Lest my imaginations turn to bitterness and sudden despair.

“A Short, Sweet, But Precious While”

Something about your smile
Enchanted me when I first met you
Just a few short months ago

As I looked into your friendly eyes
When we said hello
I realized you were someone
Worth knowing as more than a friend

Cherie, the dreams and hopes I had
Are all gone
The illusions have disappeared
As suddenly as they came

The tenderness of our short-lived happiness
Has, like an evening sunset,
Turned into darkness of a gloomy night

You are young and oh, so sweet!
You are free and single
Like the robin perched atop yonder branch
Which, alighting an hour or two, is gone

The winter months are around the bend
The snowflakes I can already see
In cold and bitter nights
I’ll lie and dream
Of things that might have been

But you, like the robin, which I still can see
Will fly away to chirp in someone else’s sweet dreams
May you enlighten that someone’s life
The way you did mine

With this sad adieu
I thank you for stopping by my heart
Even though
‘Twas just for a short, sweet, but precious while

Cherie, when you think of me in days to come
If ever you do
Do not shed a tear of sympathy
Remember me as someone good
Please forgive the wrongs and forget the bad

Goodbye, sweet angel
And God bless you
Now and always.

“Searching For An Answer”

I’ve traveled this world far and wide
Seeking something I thought I could find
Loneliness, solitary companion by my side
I had hopes for answers to things on my mind

O’er the mountains and through deep valleys
Beneath sparkling fountains and in dark alleys
My weary feet have had to toil
As I traversed this earth’s soil
Searching for a reason to live, a hope for tomorrow
A world without sorrow

But more I traveled more I marveled
At a world full of cruelty
At man’s inhumanity

As I look around me
All I can see
Are men yearning to be free
More questions than answers
Violence and pollution
Problems beyond solution
A world full of sin
The world I’m living in

Yet will I trudge on
From dawn till sunset
From sunset till morn
Till I find what I seek
A reason to live
Comfort for the meek
Someone to forgive

‘Fore my life comes to an end
There’s something I must find
So I can tell you, my friend
Answers to things on my mind
In a world of futility
A world full of cruelty

“Come Back, My Darling”

Where are you when I need you, my precious?
You promised sweet dreams,
idyllic romance, passionate kisses
But like in a mist
I seek and cannot find my path to you
Are you real or a mirage?

We sit in a park
I lay my head upon your tender bosom
My eyes shut, your soft lips reach down
And moisten my dry and restless body
Then I open my eyes and you are gone

My entire being aches for you
Were your words meant
Just to tease and deceive?
Are you only a seductress
Riding the wild and turbulent waves
Of my anguished soul, seeking to tempt and destroy?

Return to me, my love
Stimulate my mind and my passions again.
For a fleeting moment once more
Drive me wild with your desire
And impetuous yearning
Then depart again, if you must

Like a will o the wisp
You come into my life
Torment me with your sensual being
Make love to me in a way
Beyond the boundaries of my fantasies
Then leave me wounded and torn
Departing without a trace

Come back, my darling
I’ll take you for but a moment or two
Than to endure life
Without even a dream to pursue
